A web chat room based on Node.js + Express + Socket.io tools. The front-end uses Vue.js as the framework. The back-end uses Express to build web services. Otherwise, I used Socket.io to create a server service and realized some basic chat functions. For instance, I expanded on the default functionality, finished the login page, included a visual effect when a user leaves the chat room and added the ability to add a custom avatar per user. The chat room also supports private chat, message notifications, emojis and photos of no more than 1M.
